While students work through these themes, they will be developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The language will be practiced through interactive activities and presentations. Grammar will be introduced as necessary to complete the activities. Students will learn greetings and farewells, describing yourself and family, numbers, days and months, weather, telling time, birthdays and ages, and daily schedules.

Exceptions may be made to those students who have a legitimate reason for being away and who have had their absence excused prior to the assignment.

* Students are expected to arrive on time, ready to work.

Guidelines for submitting work:
Only completed, proofread, neatly done work is acceptable.
Due dates will be announced well in advance and students are expected to meet them.

Assignments are due at the beginning of class. 10% will be deducted for late assignments – once an assignment is handed back to the class, no further lates will be accepted.
